Growing up in the military I quickly learned that looking out for one another was a very important role in life and had the pleasure of travelling abroad and meeting different people and nationalities/cultures.
This led me to my caring career, starting in 2000, where I worked as a community carer for the local authority. I also liaised with professional bodies, learned new skills in nursing, and taught others on the moving and handling of clients. I went on to become a social care worker, which included taking clients of all ages out to social events.
In 2015 I moved over to Spain! I worked as a care giver and gained a promotion of carer mentor giving advice to other carers through my years of knowledge and experience. For the past 3 years I have worked as the warden in Sensara, ensuring all residents under my care have their total care needs met, whilst living independently. I'm a fun loving person with a big heart who loves to sing and dance.
